Speaker Marcee Reno

Hello, my name is Marcee Reno. I’m a Midwest girl through and through. I was born and raised not far from TLC in Crawfordsville, Indiana. I attended and graduated from Cedarville University in Ohio, and my husband and I moved to Iowa after we married in 2005.

After living and serving for 18.5 years in Mt. Pleasant, Iowa, God moved our family to Nevada, Iowa where my husband, Matt, serves as the associate pastor at Nevada Baptist Church. I enjoy serving in our church’s kids’ ministry. I am a homemaker and homeschool our children. God has entrusted us with five children (one boy and four girls) ranging in ages from sixteen to five.

I’m excited, humbled, and thankful for the opportunity to return to TLC for the Ladies Conference and to share from God’s Word with you. I just love camp-specifically church camp! Along with TLC, God has used other Christ-centered camps (Crystal Lake, Iowa Regular Baptist Camp, and Camp Fairwood) to help grow me in my walk with Him from childhood through adulthood.

I’m not really the running type, but I do enjoy walking. I know—walking may not be as exciting or glamorous as running, but the benefits of faithfully walking are great. Having a faithful habit of walking often requires encouragement. Such is the Christian life. God’s Word has so much to say about why and how believers should walk. As women who love God, we need encouragement in our walks with God too. I hope you will come to the Ladies Conference and be encouraged through time in the Word and fellowship with other ladies as you seek to faithfully walk with our good God.

-Marcee
