Mike Hess serves as the National Representative of the GARBC. Mike grew up in the Chicago suburb of Oswego, Illinois, and came to know Christ as his Savior at the age of 17. He and his wife, Christina, met in college and have been blessed with two children, Joseph and Hannah.

In Mike’s role as National Representative, he serves the association by encouraging local churches, counseling churches and pastors in need, assisting in pastoral placement, speaking in various churches and ministry settings, mentoring and training other pastors, and by championing our fellowship’s doctrinal statement.

Before assuming the role of National Representative, Mike served as a senior pastor in the states of Illinois and Iowa.

Mike and his wife, Christina, enjoy traveling, reading, encouraging their children’s sports endeavors, enjoying their Labrador retrievers, and faithfully following and rooting for the Chicago Cubs
